Interested in another .375 H&H and wanting to know if anyone has had any experience with them. I have 2 of the M84 synthetics and do like them. Thanks in advance.

I have one, it shoots well. Very very accurate. Recoil is good and straight back. I let several friends try it and they felt recoil was more like a 300 mag. Handling was good, only problem with the rifle is putting 4 rounds in the magazine. If the bullets are not to the back of the magazine then it can jam. Works fine with 3 rounds in the mag or with other more pointed bullets ( I was using Federal 270 GR soft points at the time and needed my knife to unjam the rifle, the bolt did not pick up the shell at it rear but rather met it half way down its length and pushed it half way into the chamber). Over all very happy with the rifle.

TI3006 thankyou for that report. That tells me everything I need to know about the Kimber Talkeetna. I was actually considering one to tide me over as an all weather version during a custom 375 H&H build. I'll definitely disregard the Kimber.

Is it just me or do I keep hearing the same complaint about Kimbers .....chambering problems? Been a while since I have paid attention to Kimbers but it seems to me that was the bugaboo some time ago too?

Ya, but the feeding problem is easy to fix. i have 2 and have fixed mine a 2 buddies rifles as well. The bottom of the feed rail on one side has a dogleg jog in it. I just filed it down straighter until it fed like corn thru a goose. Works great! Just too bad Kimber doesn't fix this before shipping them out. It does work however, so not concerned about that at all. thanks for the report.
