I still haven't found a 375 H&H Whitworth I thought was worth the asking price. However, I did find a very nice used Ruger MkII in 375 H&H. Any first hand experience as to how the Ruger ring system holds up to the 375 recoil? I have a 7# 338wmag and it holds up to that. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

I have a #1 in 416 Rigby, recoil is much worse that a bolt gun in 375. My rings hold up fine. The gun is 4 years and 525 rounds old. The Ruger rings are the toughest made............JJ " venator ferae bestiae et aquae vitae "
