Looks like my action will be going to VVCG for the truing, lapping and barrel installation. They have the .375 and .416 versions of the WSM and Redding makes the dies as well as CH4D. I have decided to go with the .375 version as bullet selection is much better than the .416. They stated a 15 week turn around as max, which works as McMillan is calling for 12 weeks on the stock. I'm thinking a #4 SS Shilen tube at 22" on the MRC SS SA chambered in .375 WSM in a McMillan Supergrade Stock in blue and white swirl pattern. It will have a Leupold 1.5-5x20 or a 1.75-6x32E in Burris Signature Dual Dovetails on top, but I can't decide whether to install sights or leave her naked. If I go with the sights, the Burris' will go away in favor of Talley QD's in steel.... I have a NIB 6x42 Matte Duplex if anyone has one of the above listed scopes they are willing to trade --matte finish only. This is starting to get interesting......

Sounds like a fun project you have there. What will you be using it for? I don't think I could live with that stock, but paint the whole thing black and throat it for a 250g Swift seated to the base of the neck, and I'd be right proud of it! Should be able to get 2600 if you can keep it out of the powder room.

Well, I'm not Chris, but... VVCG = Virgin Valley Custom Guns - mostly into customizing TC Encores and Contenders, but do have a full service gun shop it looks like. Check them out here.
