I wa hoping for some inexpensive Bullets to shot for practice, but according to Hornadys website they are about the same price as Swifts. Hornady .423 Bullets

Cases a little of $2.00 each

When they get out to the retailers they will be cheaper. Midway shows the DGS/DGX line to be $49 per 50.

They also have these: http://www.midwayusa.com/eprod...ct?saleitemid=848799

Can't get much cheaper.

I suspect Hornady for two reasons. They look like Hornady's and the style and weight on many of the blemished bullets match ones in the Hornady line.

Interestingly, the .410s I received are very close but not a perfect match to the regular .410 Hornadys. The cannelure is slightly closer to the nose.

If you have an extra box or a few bullets I'd be glad to try some out!

Thanks for the offer!

I just placed a second order Sunday night (14th) they still show on the web site for $17.59/100. Heck if for nothing else than milkjugs you can't beat that price.

As usual just my $.02

I bought a box of these from Midway too. Loaded a couple dummys up to get my die set last night. Had to seat them pretty deep to get them to chamber as they ran up to rifling when seated to the crimp groove. I'm guessing this is because of the shallow ogive. Anyone else loaded any yet?

30+ years experience tells me that perfection hit at .264. Others are adequate but anything before or after is wishful thinking.
