Gents,

Don't see much here about the 425 WR

It's case demensions arn't that far off from the 06.
Case head at 467.
case length 2.640
oal just a bit more than the 06

What I'm getting to is: Could the Rem 760 be done to this round?
Would the rotating bolt handle the pressure?

I've had one for years and might be a fun project. The brass and bullets for this round are a bit pricey, but, just as a project wouldn't break the bank.

Do a subject search on the caliber. It's been discussed for years, here. The crucial factor is the proper shape of the follower because of the rebated rim. IMO you would have to have a straight stack magazine and I don't know how you would manage that in a 760 but if you did it would be one bad muthuh bear gun for Alaska or the Arctic circle. Interesting project but the time and money would flow!
