All,

I have taken delivery on a George Hoenig .460 G & A. I came with dies, bullets and loaded ammo...Don't know who loaded the ammo, or, for that matter what the loads are.
I did not get any load data! Therefore I'm pulling the bullets, tossing the loads and starting from scratch. I take lots of risks in life, but not when it comes to loading - especially in the 404 case class!

Anybody have some data / suggestions as to where I can get some?

Jeff Cooper says 90 grains of 4064 gives him 2400 fps in a 21 inch barrel with 500 grain bullets. That's in To Ride, Shoot Straight, and Speak the Truth.

I have seen later Jeff Cooper articles in which he cites lower velocities, and I don't recall any loading data there.

Mehulkamdar emailed me a scanned copy of the Tom Siatos article about a year ago. I'll try finding that on my other computer.
