I have some 235gr Speer Hot core bullets.
I need to choose a powder.
Hogdon's 2006 annual reloading manual makes
BL-C(2) looks like top contender.
Load volume is high, velocity highest, pressure middle of the pack.

Anyone got some experience with this load in a
375 H&H Mag.

This bullet is not very tough. Does not need to be driven at top velocity for small(er) game.

I drove some to 2943 with 76.0 gr of RL-15. Groups were simpy wonderful ... about 0.3" at 100. Was WAY to fast for deer sized game. Wounds were terrible. Bullets shattered. Lots of meat ruined.

I also tried 80.0 gr of IMR 4350 to give 2611 fps. Gave groups of less that 2" at 200 yards. Caused less destruction, but bullets still fragmented but the chunks were bigger.

Good plinking bullet ... not a good hunting bullet.
