I hope you have better luck finding the Winchester than I did. I just got word from walmart that their distributor is sold out of that gun. I checked with USRAC and they gave me a list of distributors who last recieved these guns and I checked with four of them and they were all out of stock. It would seem as though the pipeline is dry yet USRAC won't be procuding any more until January.

As much as I love Ruger #1s I would say go with the M-70.

I would say the Ruger.

It looks way better and has nicer amenities.
