I,m considering the .416 400gr solids and dead tough for my Rigby and Remington. The shape and sectional density are the same and the idea of same point of impact sounds good. Has anyone used these in the field on buffalo, hippo, elephant and giraffe? How did the bullets perform and what was the impact reaction of the animals? Any experience would be appreciated. Any chance that Woodleigh will bring out a roundnose soft with a heavier construction to pair up with their steel fmj for better performance on thickskinned animals?
