Can you use 458 Win dies for handloading the 458 Lott?

Basically like using 38 special dies for the 357 mag
the lott is .3" longer case than the win mag.

I have been told that if you use a spacer between the locking ring and and the press base, this can be achieved.

When I had a 458 Lott I used 458 Win. dies for years. I loaded a couple thousand rounds with them.

I just backed the dies out made a .3 steel washer spacer.

Just like 38/357, 44 Special/ 44 Mag.
