My local dealer told me that EAA was introducing the IZH in a 458 double. He said he saw one at the SHOT show and placed an order. Anybody heard this?

Do a search on "458 double" or "IZH" as there has been some discussion on it. I think the IZH was a 45/70, CZ has an O/U 458.

it's 45/70, and will be about 600 bucks.

a 458 winnie, in a sxs, is just a gernade waiting to happen. It's a 60kpsi round in a 35k action.

I had heard about the 45-70. I'd be interested to test on of those Russian actions and see what it would take. I'll bet it's not far off the Win 21 and at least as strong as the Superposed.
