that ability to to move the tightened lever to any position is what I am talking about, recoil will jump them out of place and block the bolt lift on the right side, I have had it happen twice and once was almost my demise, but I suppose you could put them on the other side and pull them out and reset them as you tighted them, but I don't need that agrivation. Also I do not want a QD that tightens with 1/4 turn, it may look good on a town gun, but I want them real tight on a using gun..I use a 3" cheater bar to tighten my QD scopes..

I'll take the slotted thumbscrew in lieu of the levers.
