Sorry no Aarard data. I show it to be a couple grs smaller than my 400PDK in the case capacity area. If 84+/- is correct for the aagard. I've taken .416 350Speers and drawn them to .411. I found RL 15 and IMR 4895 (a couple grs more than CCMDoc listed) gives me just over 2400.

My buddy has a 416PDK and he uses 4064 behind 340 Woodleighs.

As usual just my $.02

OK help out this old fart. Isn't a 416 Aarard the same as a 416/376Styr???? Has it also been called the 416 Steyr or is that something completely different? Reason I ask QL has the 416Steyr listed but volume is listed as 80grs. If that is the case the loads listed above are going to be hot. So as soon as I get the case volume I'll pull some new numbers.

Using the 416Steyr data the COW loads listed above are more like 70,000 plus so for the time being IGNORE my earlier post.

first let me say that my dad recently gave me this rifle so i haven't researched the aagard very much. i believe it is the 376 case necked up and improved, so it should have a little greater capacity than one just necked up. i'll definately hold off on loading anything for now Big Grin

OK using Bruces 83.05gr case capcity and a 3.1" OAL the COW loads above give these results in QL.

65gr H4895 66,937psi the 62grs of N133 gives 67,361. As to the question of Varget 66grs gives 62,351 which is basically the max pressure.
