Looks like Michael458 has put up most of the rifles in the Winchester Big Five set on Gun Broker. I see the 470 Capstick at like $2,300, and there are others. This is a $20K-$25K set...take a look...nice stuff!

That's a great price for a Big Five 470 Capstick. Regards, Chuck "There's a saying in prize fighting, everyone's got a plan until they get hit" Michael Douglas "The Ghost And The Darkness"

Interesting history. He mentions in his ad all the 470 Capsticks had the wrong bore diameters! Hunting: Exercising dominion over creation at 2800 fps.

I have a 375 H&H that was part of the Winchester Big Five series. It has the gold lion head on the floorplate, with 'Big Five' series in the African continent outline. The gentleman that sold it to me brand new years ago also had the 458 Winchester available with the same serial number. Mine has been customized (new stock and custom checkering and further engraving on the receiver and barrel). It has been to Africa with me many, many times, taking ele, rhino, croc, buffalo, hippo, leopard, lion, and a myriad of plains game, including the tiny ten. I absolutely LOVE that gun!
