in a slow process having a 416taylor built up on a p14 action. i know why use a p14 because im a sucker for old militar actions. nothing says custom more than changing everything but the frame and on this one even that will be largely altered. what im trying to find out is about a barrel maker in florida. he makes octagon barrels at a great price just wanted to see if anybody out there has used his products of heard any info. wed site is www.windriverrifle.com

I purchased a .30 cal octagon for a future project but it probably won't be put together till next year. I have not recieved the barrel yet. So I know about as much as you do.

I purchased my off of Ebay. I believe there is another still on there. 6mm if I recall correctly. The sellers id is Oldgunparts.
