these groups looks fantastic!! the 470 is what, 1.5" or so, net, and the 416 is about 1?

Jeffe, you were right on, the .470 NE spread is 1.5" center to center, the .416 Rigby spread is .9" center to center. And with my novice handloads.

Rusty, I would not foist such a weapon on anyone, not until I can work out the kinks and get the thing shooting right. Wink

George, I have heard about the Woodleighs being soft. May need to check out the Swifts.
