Just a heads up for .404 Jeffrey shooters. Midway has 2 boxes of 400 gr. Hornady DGX ammo left for $75.64. Better grab it now if you need it!

Has hornady stopped making 404 Jeff ammo, or is it currently in short supply? Just wondering.

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."

I picked up both boxes on sale for $132. I'm waiting on my LW barrel and Weibe bottom metal. I'm building on a FN commercial action (early Weatherby 300 WBY mag). Does anyone have a set of dies for sale?

Why not use the RWS ammo from New England Custom Gun?

I did the same for my 270 Weatherby. Weatherby ammo (spire points) was cheaper than buying Weatherby brass...

Smiler
