I have been a victim of the good old boy network, with southerners in the military for years. You take care of your own too well, and it's often contradictory to morale.

I do what I can to squash that shit like a bug in ranks.

Always nice to have a CO from the West, especially one that spent 4 years at the Academy being force fed Southern good-old-boy-ship.

The Navy is bad enough, I spent two months in Vietnam on a POW/MIA recoverry mission with the Army. That thing is almost 70% Southerners
