Yes It came in friday, Just befor the atalnta show. I was able to order 200 rounds of HDS brass, 5 boxes of woodliegh softs, and three boxes of barns solids. ALF sent me some info on loading. I am just waiting for the dies to arrive. The rifle is complete ..it is missing one small screw in the leafs. The bore looks great a tiny bit of frosting in one spot. The rifle had the wood refinished at one time..you have to look hard to tell. The front site is hooded with flip over..small silver bead ...it has a hidden "moon site" that flips up. The two things that are different(1) Metal butt plate... I bet this thing is going to kick like a Mule! (2) 28 inch barrel..You really don't have any clue how longggggg that is until you shoulder it. I was reading in in African Rifles book.. that was the same thing that Taylor noted. Urdubob

I have completed the Holy Trinity of african Rifles: 1)Holland and Holland rifle in hollands .375 Magnum, Mine was made in 1955. I need to get one made in the 20's or 30's. 2) Jeffery in Jefferys .404 (unable to find any info on when this was made.) 3) The Westley Richards in his 425..I am sending off for the records to when this was made. I am sure it was in the late teens or early 20'S. My friends the one I am after now is a Rigby In Rigby's 416. Please if you know of one for sale let me know. I would be happy to pay a small finders fee or gift if you are able to put me in touch with one. (not just one from the Gunlist or Guns America.... I check those every day) Thanks Urdubob

Bob, Contact Roosevelt and Drake. They had a nice old London Rigby at the SCI show in Reno. The price was $25K. Here's a link, but it's not advertised on their website. Roosevelt and Drake

Urdubob Very cool collection of Brit Bolts. Congratulations. The Rigby will be difficult and expensive. Rigby only made 184 between 1912 and 1982. Paul Roberts made, I'm told, another 100 on the BRNOZKK action between 1982 and the time he sold it to California. The 416 Rigby was never very popular and would have probably faded into history but for R. Ruark writing about it. How about some pictures of all three? Here is the link to the Jeffery records. http://www.jroberts-gunmakers.co.uk/
