Here are mine:

My loads (with the usual caveat) are as follows. I don't think that there will be a significant difference between loads for the 480 and loads for the 500.
Woodleigh 480 SP 95 grains IMR4831
Woodleigh 480FMJ 86 grains RL15

Sissy loads which gave about the same POI for the two barrels:

Hornady 350 gr. Interlocks.
H-4350
85 gr.
~2175 fps

RL-15 gave wide variances in velocities between the two barrels.

Will, not really sissy loads, as, knowing you, your 450 3 1/4 weights just a bit over 5 lbs, with one trigger!

Rich

96 gr of IMR 4831 using 325 gr Hornady FTX bullet. (~ 2300 fps)
Works wonders on groundhogs, no clean up needed.

Will, what ever happened with your Sabatti 45-70 to 450NE conversion? How has it held up?
