Guys,

Anyone have any data on the performance of the 260 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip in 375 H&H?

This fella has a nice BC but it's performance could range over the lot. Am curious if it might make a decent deer slug at range driven in the 2300-2400 fps range and yet be OK for Elk in the 2600 fps range.

thanks,

There has been several posts about this bullet on this site. However, I'm not sure if the search feature is working. I couldn't find them.

This picture is from a 260 gr, BT recovered from a 250 lb hog shot at 60 yrds. The portion of this bullet weighed 117 gr and the lead core was no where to be found. The MV is 2,850 fps out of my 375 H&H. I think this bullet will be fine for deer but I want my elk bullets to hold together better.
