I have a custom .460WM on a Brno 602. This will be the rifle I will take for buff in '06 and need a smith to slick up the action, fabricate a muzzle cap to replace the brake and reverse the safety for forward to fire. Could anyone recommend a smith with DG rifle experience? Thanks, Bob

After re-reading New Guy's critique of his Lon Paul Rifle I hauled out the one I have for a closer examination. Everything on it is purpose built and the rails and feed ramp are polished to a mirror finish and it is feeds as slick and reliably as any rifle I have ever had the pleasure of using. In a nut shell it is a superb piece of workmanship. I have showed it to both D'Arcy Echols and Steven Dodd Hughes and both of them agreed with me that it was a mighty fine rifle.
I also know Joe Coogan is a fan and owner of Lon's rifles as are many African PH's.
So I'll stand completely by my initial assessment and recommendation of both Lon and his work.
