If it's only 6 months, then you are lucky. I waited 10 months, but that is what Butch predicted.

Yia sou, Pete, His double rifles are highly regarded. There are a couple of AR Members who have Searcy doubles, but not in .600NE. Perhaps they'll chime in. George

If I recall the price list, a 600 Nitro costs $24K, but a 700 Nitro costs $40K. For the difference in price and the 3 pounds difference in rifle weight, I might be able to scrape by with a 600 nitro.

Hi 500 Grains, I think it would be nice to scrape by with your 500 Nitro. It probably has the best ballistics of the bunch and will weigh less also. A 570 grain bullet at 2150 fps in 50 caliber AWESOME!! Take care, Dave

500, I think I would pay the extra to have the 600 over the 700 myself. Karl.

do you plan on using the rifle for elephant??? if so i would suggest the 700 nitro you have a little bit more bullet weight 1000 compared to 900 of the 600 and at 2000fps belive it or not the 700 penetyrates just a bit more than the 600 according to searcy and the testes he has done i have atpe here showing the 700 nitro going through 2 feet of moponie wood and i also have some vidieo of the 700 nitro in action i ordered a 700 nitro from searcy and the gun is going to be sent to me asap (as soon ans the state dept stamps it i figure next week. feel free to email me or any other memeber here exp 500 grains and ray akinson he has a 470 searcy ph modle
