Anyone buy anything from Hendershot's at the DSC show in January ? I bought a couple Blaser R8's & seem to be getting the run-around from them when I call & try to get a status on my order. I also contacted BlaserUSA & they are not wanting to discuss any issues about Hendershot's. I'm caught in the middle & can't get information. Anyone know if Hendershot's is having problems ? Thanks for any help - I'm out a lot of money.

I've purchased guns from Hendershots. My experience has always been good. Lance was the one I worked with. He was easy to work with. All of my transactions have been at the store. Hope it all works out for you. Bfly

I actually drove thru Hancock Md yesterday on the way home from the inlaws. I just looked at Hendershot's website and noticed that they're "closed for remodeling". That may have some bearing on your order.

When I lived in that area I was in Hendershot's shop a lot and bought and sold few rifles through them, man do I wish there was a shop like that where I live now.
Two things going on right now. Lance is buying out his dad and they closed for about six weeks for remodeling. I hope all is well! I have a bunch of guns there on consignment.

I received a call today from Hendershot's & they let me know that they are having a few difficulties with BlaserUSA, but are working through them & assured me I would get my rifles. I think everything will work out OK. I have dealt with Hendershot's in the past a few times & had very positive buying experiences.

This is Eric from Hendershot's and I would like to thank you all for the compliments and let you know we appreciate your loyalty! We have run into a snag with Blaser USA but all is well. There will be nothing to worry about.

Thanks Eric Exline
What kind of "snag" are you talking about? Given that you attribute the delay, on a public forum, to a manufacturer, it might be useful info. to members here contemplating a purchase from Hendershots and/or Blaser USA. Maybe Blaser wants to tell us why this customer doesn't have his order if it's their problem?

Lance is a standup guy that stands by his products. I have every confidence that this will work out fine. They also took the time to weigh in and post a response. Some times the cynics are too quick to run for the rope.
No cynic here. I've dealt directly with Lance and Blaser. A guy doesn't post a "WTF?" thread if he's gettin' taken care of. If the poster is satisfied he should have the thread deleted or offer an update. For a guy to say he represents an involved party and say "don't worrry, it's the vendors fault" with no specifics is suspect.

Have to agree the group about Lance. I don't think there is a more trusting individual in the industry. Lance and Hendershots are first class in every way.

I am glad you'll have had good dealings. I went to their store a few years ago and spent close to an hour and never had a clerk ask me what I might want. That made two visits first and last.
