Saeed: Is there an "Ignore this thread" function that can be applied?

After you have made more 1000 postings Saeed changes the rules so that reading every thread is not compulsory. Of course many who exceed 1000 postings do not make use of that feature.

But seriously...consider if it could be done. The first thing that would happen is trolls would invade every thread so no thread would be any good to you. So the next stage would have to be one of deleting postings.

Really, as in most things in life you are better looking after yourself.

tiggertate,

May I suggest you do what I do.

I look at the Forum, and any thread which seems irrelevant, I don't open it.

I am afraid we seem to have a few personalities here who do not see eye to eye. And thought of solving their problems by having a go at each other on a public forum.

Not very clever, but very true. One just hopes we learn from this silly experience.

Saeed,
I say this somewhat tongue in cheeek but how about starting a troll war forum that way they could blast each other and not hijack a good thread.

WyoJoe,

The way things are going, I might change the name of this forum!

Wherever there are forums, there always be trolls, and the best we can do is giving them as little importance as possible.

I do try that; its just such a shame when an otherwise interesting thread gets infected. To those involved, please try a little discipline and concentrate your efforts on fewer threads. Thanks in advance.
