Good Lord those Hannibals are ugly. It makes the stock on a Marlin Guide Gun look like exhibition grade walnut.

Pardon my ignorance, but what would ever make that rifle worth $1700?

Anybody here ever really play with a A-Square hannibel? Rough as a Cob doesn't describe it! I've seen them go for $3500 though! I'd say a fair price for the worksmanship would be $375. Buy a M-30 remington for $375, have Pac-Nor rebarrel it to 450 Ackley for $400 and buy your wife a $1000 ring with the left over money! You'll be glad you did!-Rob

I had A-Square build a .450 Ackley in a previous life, but it was much better built than the auction rifle shown -- which does not look "finished".

I ended up deciding that my rifle did not handle as well as it should, so I divested.
