Never fired mine w/o the brake, no reason to remove it because there's no reason to increase the discomfort level when I pull the trigger. | |||

While we're on the subject of muzzle brakes, does the original Pendleton type muzzle brake used by Weatherby on the 378 & 460, effectively tame the 378's recoil? | |||

Last one I shot was probably 20 years ago. maybe I got tougher (doubtful) or the riles are stocked better. Or maybe I just remember it worse than it realyy was. At any, rate I've not been really interested in shooting another until now. Maybe I'll have to try it one more time... "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson. | |||
