Wasn't getting a lot of hits in the gunsmithing forum so I thought I would try here too.

What is the current value of a 1962 vintage ZG47 in 98% condition, caliber 30.06? Single trigger and in-the-bow floorplate release (did they all come that way?). Condition is very nice with medium colored wood with a couple very dark streaks running through it. I believe a 2 leaf rear sight. Thanks for the help.

It's not mine, but I am hoping to buy. If I do I will post pics. I'm kinda pumped about it.

They generally fetch up to $1500 depending on the buyer, rarity and condition of the gun. If I'm not mistaken, the .30-06 is the more common variant here in the states.

What the seller wants for it is another story.

So we have price estimates ranging from around $50 (on Gunsmithing Forum) to $1500. That clears it up for me.

You sound like you expect a reasonable answer from Kobe.

$50 to $1500 is actually a reasonable range. Depends on how much the buyer is will to pay and how little the seller is willing to accept.

I see most of these in various calibers and conditions selling for between $800 and about $1500. With those less common models in 98% and better condition selling for between $1200 and $1500.
