Anybody that hasn't read Ganyana's article in the current issue of "Rifle" mag is missing a great article. I loved it. He raised some stuff that I "knew" but didn't know that I "knew". Way to go Ganyana - hope they publish more of your stuff. BTT, for a great article. Especially the part about PF vs CRF. Ganyana, the Chief Examiner on the PH's proficiency test, tells of seeing too many problems associated with a PF to consider using one. Mr. Ganyana says:

I will try to buy the magazine and read what Ganyana writes.

It was an online article from Ganyana about the Zim PH test and the performance of rifles during that test that convinced me to buy my CZ Safari Classic, and then have the safety replaced with a 3 pos Model 70 type trigger. Well, probably previous to that test, an observer wrote of one maybe opposite result. By memory, Brno's in general, .458 Lott in particular, were jamming left right and centre. The trouble with these tests is that there are relitively few examples, so a couple of Lads with ANY action can skew the results. And as for single shots, boy have I had troubles. I can remember bashing the lever against a tree to get the cases to eject. Nothing is fool proof with a fool swinging on the end of it. (Yes me included).

Well my CZ feeds during rapid hard cycling, slow cycling, upside down with me shaking it side to side. So I'm pretty sure it's fine. Mine was worked over by both the CZ Custom shop and AHR however. Sure, this "observer" made it clear also that these young apprentices were short of money and had rifles that were NOT converted/checked by top quality gunsmiths. Don't know what they'd do to stop a good PF though??
