I happend to have a look at Frontier bulets website and they had some very interresting bullets, like a 396 grain, 9.3mm FMJ , 500 grain 416, 600 grain 458. Will long solids like that stabillize properly in 9.3 mm and other rifles with ordinary twists ? Have you tried the 400 grain here and how did it behave ? I didnt find Ken Stewarts webpage, anyone that knows of it here ? When we are on the bigbore ammo, i got the brochure on the norma African PH ammo, ddepicted in that was brochure was among else Don Heath, wow that guy has hunted very much different game.....

There is no need for a bullet at the 400 grain mark in a 9,3 as the caliber can do its intended job quite adequately with a 286 grainer up to buffalo. I would pick a strongly constructed bullet that can expand in a controlled way, much rather than a hard cast lead bullet that does not expand that is essensially a "solid" in behaviour. Warrior

A 396 grain 9.3 solid? Probably it will stabilize on paper targets, although not real accurate, but would destabilize in game, IMO.

What make of bullet would that be that can expand in a controlled way, other than a monometal?

Take a look at the Swift A-Frames. They seem to work very well in all calibers. I've used them in 375, 416 and 475 calibers and all expaned perfectly and penetrated deeply. Take good care, Dave
