Hi, I'm seriously considering rebarreling my CZ Safari Classic to 470 Capstick, but would like to get the feel of comparable recoil. I belong to the Frontier gun club so we have a nice range, and would like to shoot a comparable rifle before proceeding with the project. No incredible hurry, this will be a next winter project.

Regards,
Chuck

Chuck, come to the big bore shoot in Helena in June and you can shoot about anything you can think of.

Sounds like a great idea! I lived in Montana from 1973 to 1980. I miss it! When in June?

One thing is for sure no stump in the woods will be safe!

I've got one and I'm in Littleton. More than happy to give you a crack at it.

Thanks logjam, if I don't make it to the big bore shoot in June, I will definitely take you up on it. As far as the stumps are concerned do they qualify as varmints?

Smiler
