hawk .500 bullets
Does anyone have any opinions on the hawk bullets. Im thinking about loading some pork corks for my 50 beowulf. I know for the price i wouldnt want to practice too much with them but it would be nice to have a good bullet for large pigs.

The ones I loaded in my .416 Rem and .458 Lott were really soft. They come apart. If you plan on plinking or harvesting non dangerous game, I can't see any reason not to use them. I've used them on hogs and they expand impressively.

They are reportedly soft, which is just the ticket for a slow mover like the 50 Beowulf. I hope you Beowulf is more accurate than mine was (12 gauge was vastly superior in both ballistics and accuracy, if not magazine capacity).
