I just ordered some from Natchez for under $19 a box. I ordered two boxes, am concerned about the quality of the brass. Have seen some S&B ammo that had small flashholes.

i have used a lot of different cartridges by S&B. the only really bad experience i have ever had was using the 9.3x62 with a 285 grain bullet. i was unable to group less than 5" at 100 yards using a rifle that grouped Norma as well as handloads at 1.25". i only shot one box so maybe this was a fluke. i'd be interested to hear from other users of this round by S&B.

I also reported elsewhere that a friend of mine chronographed the S&B 285-grain ammo at between 2000 and 2100 fps from a 24" barrel, which is a bit on the low side, nominal being 2350 fps.
