I only ask cause it has been there for a while, and nobody has mentioned it in here.
You know, some folks have complained about the Safariclassics version, and since this came from the custom shop, I wonder if the fit of this one is better than the SC since technically it is a one off.
Heck, I just sold a 416 Rigby with the upgraded wood, slow rust blue, barrel band swivel, trigger adjusted, action smoothed, etc...all by a very fine gunsmith...and I sold mine here in the classifieds for $1,200...see if you wanted one you should have bought mine..albeit a different caliber...
I also have a 458 Lott upgraded wood and done the same way..but a few dings, it has been to Africa..taken 3 Buff and a 375H&H upgrade wood but not as much gunsmith work, that will flat out shoot...

Ok, I did a search after joining. Are you implying that by me mentioning this gun, that it jacks up things for those that were planning on bidding, and got sniped by some lurker that saw this thread and outbid that person?
It's a nice looking rifle and allthough I think parkerizing should be reserved for military weapons I fully understand it for rust prevention in adverse weather, and to prevent reflection. But what I don't get is whats the deal with the pic of the money?
