I have a Sauer 202, in 416 Rem., I am considering using the 4 round " drop " magazine. Does anybody have any experience with this? Is it harder to carry the rifle with the mag sticking out at the bottom ? Does it dig into your back when carrying rifle on your back ? Thanks !

Darrell, I used a Sauer 202 in 375 with the extended magazine. I never really noticed the difference, and the extra capacity is worth it to me. PS: Welcome to AR!

I would get two 4 rounds and duck tape them together. Giving you 8 shots if you need it Joe

That is a fine rifle. What are you going to use that rifle on?

I don't have a Sauer in the big magnums but I have several 200's in the standard length rounds and I much prefer the extended 5'shot over the flush fit 3 rounders. Imhave a Sauer 90 I 8x68S and I much prefer the extended 4 rounders there as well. I have had them on 2 African safaris as well,as numerous US hunts and no issues carrying it what so ever.
