I just bought a Rem 700 in .375 H&H AI, i have a good load that the previous owner used, 95.0grs RL-22 and a 260 Nosler Partition, it groups .75" consitantly, what are some links for loading data and info on the 375 AI? Thanks.

Mikeelliot,
congrats on the new gun! My opinion, but I think the A.I. Weatherby, JRS etc. are the best all round 375 group out there.

A-Square has data if you have the book (mine is on loan).
You could use Weatherby data (Barnes has it), Just go carefully 'cause the Weatherby has a longer lead which reduces pressure slightly.

The 260 Nosler is a great bullet, and penetrates better than its S.D. says it should. You will most always recover the bullet just under the skin on the far side of the animal no matter what the shot angle is. There are a quite a few guys on this post with a lot of 375 experience. Careful who you listen to. Ray is a good one and there are others. I believe Ray has some quality 260 Nosler info as well (he seems to understand the bullet). Look around, then ask.

I'am a big fan of bigger bullets in the 375 because I like an exit hole and, the 270 and 300 grain X bullets retain major down range energy.
Quite a few guys speak of the Swift as a super bullet. I have no experience with this one.

I see you are from B.C. as well.
The 375 is great for moose!
Glad to answere any other questions. If I don't know I'll find out for you.
Good luck!

Jamie

Thanks x-man! Ya its a great shooting gun, i cant believe how accurate it is. I would comfortable even hunting deer or even coyotes with it! I think i might have to try some other bullets, the 270 and 300 i think will be on my list. I will be sure to ask you any questions i may have. Thanks again!

Mike.
