This is new to me...what is the "preferred" adjustable replacement trigger mechanism for the 550? Is a new trigger guard recommended?



Regarding the safety, I am accustomed to the 3-position, but have had experiences where I was one-click short of being able to pull the trigger when I wanted to. Likewise, I like the idea of being able to operate the bolt. The CZ will be in .458 Lott. Opinions?

You probably know my opinion already but AHR was supposedly making replacement triggers (the actual trigger itself) but when I called them they claimed they didn't have any in stock. Not sure if that meant they were only using them on their custom CZ's.

The problem with the CZ as I see it is that the trigger is in the middle of the trigger guard and when the Lott goes off your middle finger gets hammered.

If I was to get another CZ I would have the rear of the trigger guard cut off and moved forward and welded.

I really don't see the need to have a 3-position safety, besides it is slow and cumbersome. I would like to find 2-position safeties for my Mod. 70's but haven't found any as yet.

I think that I have come to the conclusion that I quite like the cz safety as is, funnily enough my 9.3 lux cz has a 3 pos while the rest of my cz's have 2 pos safety's, to pos are good there either on safe or there not.
