Just a sanity check... you can get both the 416 rem and rigby in a #1... for like 700 bucks...

A rechamber won't work properly. The .405 Winchester shoots a .411" bullet; the .404Jeffery shoots a .423" (some are bored .419").

I've had a 416 Rem No.1 on classified for several weeks, but I may have it sold to M1Tanker, I am awaiting a reply from him....$650 if he does not take it, but I am thinking he told me it was a deal? at any rate he has first shot at it...its super accurate and has pretty wood and is as new.

Im not sure but it seems to me one could simply rechamber a 405 to a 404 Jefferys??????????? I don't see why not...
