If only I had a need to replace my Leupold QRW mounts.
But thanks for the lead to that rear sight below.

SWING MOUNTS
Model Number: RINGS2000
European shooters favored this quick-detach mounting system (EAW style) for its convenience and simplicity, 1” rings and bases available for the following actions: Mauser, Remington 700, Weatherby Mk V, Sauer M90, 200 & 202, and the Winchester M70. When mounting the scope, simply insert a tab on the bottom of the front ring into the front base and pivot the scope until the rear ring locks into the rear base. When removing press the spring loaded catch on the rear ring and pull the scope to the side. Scope will return to zero. $99.95

Look at this neat rear sight that can be used on Sharps carbines and Winchester lever actions, or any rifle with a half-inch dovetail in the barrel.
Was $129.95 now offered for $59.95:

Winchester Repro 5 Leaf Long Range Express Sight
Model Number: SIT1000
For Winchester 1876-1886 and all Single Shots. ½” dovetail, adaptable to many guns. Set screw to secure in place. Retail………………….$129.95
$59.95

The remains from Cape Outfitters. I have eyeballed those swing mounts for some time but just can't pull the $100 trigger for some reason.

Interesting but the tolerances are so damn critical in this EAW design for return to zero and they have to allow for wear with tension..Even the EAW must be mounted very carefully to work..I have looked them over and so far have not been able to bring myself to try a pair, mostly because if it sounds too good to be true it usually is..this is just my take on them, and I have no idea if they are good or bad mounts.

I have used the EAW mounts on 2 different Steyr Manlichers. They worked great and went back to zero 100%.

Bought 2 sets for some largely DIY prosects I'm working on, a 9.3x62 and a 7x57. Neither project complete so I can't give a report on how well they work yet.

I talked to Jeff at Jeff's outfitters and he said that the mounts are made in Italy.
