Go to www.birdman.org I think you will get a "kick" out of his Nuke 50 handgun. Lots of good clean humor. I believe that I read either on JD's webpage or in some of his literature that the XP-100 could be worked over in the 50 Whisper. I don't think that it would be more powerful than the 50 AK though. Have you shot any of the 750 gr. Hornady A-Max in yours yet? With 43.0 gr of Re #7 my Encore moves them out of its 12" barrel at 1142.1 fps. Quite accurate out to 200 yards but those rascals are right at my recoil limit for a handgun. They tend to be a bit too much of a good thing so I'm sticking with the 475 gr. LBT LFNGC.

54 grains behind a 647 ball. Man, I'll pass on that one. The 43 grains on the 750 was beyond my fun limit. Did you check out the little video clip on Birdman's page, "The Nuke 50?" That guy's a nut with a capital N. He had a full page ad in "Very High Power" about a year ago where he was "selling" a single shot 50 BMG. It used a Mountain Dew can for the brake, a piece of 1/2" electrical EMT tubing for the barrel, and a rubber band and block of wood with a nail in it for the firing mechanism. For the scope he had a piece of PVC pipe fitted with wire crosshairs. He said it was "guarenteed" to shot one time! I bet it was. Birdman really comes up with some crazy stuff. Just don't take anything he has for sale seriously. I sometimes cannot tell if he is legit on something or not, he makes some of it sound so good, like his 50 BMG pistol. Real, or gag, I'm not sure. He's a hoot no matter what though.
