I'd always thought there was another name for the .500Jefferys besides the German one. Can anybody help me out? Maybe I'm just having a brain fart.

12.7x70 Schuler Jumbo is what I've heard as well.

I know the 404 Jeffery is sometimes called the 404 Rimless Nitro Express. By the same token, how about the 500 Rimless Nitro Express.

Pondoro Taylor lists it as a 500 Rimless in his book. Hope that helps.
