Berdan primers, that is. I found some RWS primers for the Virgin Kynoch brass I have in 470 NE, 500/465 H&H NE, 450/400 3 & 1/4" and .375 H&H Flanged Magnum. The brass grain structure looks fine under a scope. Back in the day, these cases were designed to be fired and left on the ground. I figure they are easily good for one full-power load, and then a few practice loads (with annealing in between). If anyone has some tried and true recipes for use with Woodleigh bullets, North Forks or even lead bullets (I located some suitable molds), and are willing to share, I would be appreciative. Thanks in advance, and it is nice that these Nitro Express loads are so gentle in the pressure department. Allah Ahkbar. L/D | ||
