Hope this isn't a duplicate topic. GUNS magazine September 2003 issue has a good article on the CZ 550 Safari in .375 H&H. Listing the many good features of this rifle, I can see why someone would like to have it. GUN WORLD magazine September 2003 issue has a good article on the Browning Medallion, White Gold edition in .270 Win. Listing the many good features of this rifle, I can see why someone would like to have it... Geez, am I repeating myself? Interesting to me especially with my 'need' to get a .375 H&H early next year. I'm still after the Browning A-Bolt II w/BOSS for the sheer pleasure of the old cartridge in a new platform for unadulterated fun. The CZ is as close to a 'Remingchester' as I've ever seen, now that I've seen how it combines certain features and functions of both. Either way, I'll be writing a 'czech' next spring!

BusMaster007, I like them a lot. As far as I can tell they are the real deal, not just the price but also the quality and the way they "feel" when you handle them. Don't discard the "ugly" Bavarian stock until you shoot it a bit, especially in a hunting (rather than benchrest) mode. I like M-70's too, but all other things equal, I'll take the CZ. What can I say, I am totally obsessed with cz rifles. The fit and feel for me is perfect. I have four with a 5th cz rifle on the way. I also agree that you should shoot the Hogsback stock before ridiculing it, I like the way they feel and I also like the look. Particularly the nice slim schnabel forend it points beautifully.
