I think I got the last one in Western Pennsylvania. I thought the .416 was trim and compact, the .375 feels like I'm carrying one of my lever action carbines. Now all I have to find is another .416 to convert to .458 Ruger.

Those certainly are handy looking rifles. I've had my eyes peeled for one at the right price for a while. Seem to be scarce up here in CT. The debate in my head is always one of which caliber.

As far as the new version,I would buy one if; It was brought out in 416 and to defer the cost Cutting off the muzzle brake (I don't care if it has a cap) and new hogue replacement stock, I would pay around 500.00 for it new. Then I would buy one. I would not be surprised to see them on CDNN within a year.

There is one on gunsamerica right now for $1,100.00 Seems kind of steep to me. http://www.gunsamerica.com/954...AWKEYE_416_RUGER.htm Sand Creek November 29 1864

I paid under 900 out the door for both of mine. I would buy a new model and outfit it myself, just out of principal before I paid an inflated price like that.

I bought one NIB about 6 months ago for $750. Should have kept it. I was quite surprised with its handling, accuracy, and fit & finish. Compact little powerhouse. PM JudgeG...he has one...maybe he's tired of it by now.
