The 416 Taylor brass from Quality Cartridge arrived yesterday. It is beautiful stuff and doesn't seem soft. The 416 Taylor head stamp is The weight variance between cases seems to be a little more than what I get from necking down 458 Winchester Magnum brass by Remington-Peters. I weighed 5 cases of each and here is what I got: RP cases: average weight = 246.6 grains, extreme spread = 1.5 grains QualCart cases = 244.2 grains, es = 3.0 grains. It looks like good stuff. Maybe some small bore stuff for my 358 STA next? They got it and they deliver. Took three weeks exactly to get it by internet order: http://www.owlnet.com/quality/416%20Taylor.htm

470 Mbogo, I have played with a lot of brass, including the Bertram stuff . However, Quality Cartridge stuff seems to be quite good. Good to hear that your cartridge is such an established wildcat that they might start offering it. I might have to have one someday. Being the gun nut that I am, it is the only thing left on my list to try.
