The 416 Taylor brass from Quality Cartridge arrived yesterday. It is beautiful stuff and doesn't seem soft. The 416 Taylor head stamp is ![]() The weight variance between cases seems to be a little more than what I get from necking down 458 Winchester Magnum brass by Remington-Peters. I weighed 5 cases of each and here is what I got: RP cases: average weight = 246.6 grains, extreme spread = 1.5 grains QualCart cases = 244.2 grains, es = 3.0 grains. It looks like good stuff. Maybe some small bore stuff for my 358 STA next? They got it and they deliver. Took three weeks exactly to get it by internet order: http://www.owlnet.com/quality/416%20Taylor.htm

470 Mbogo, I have played with a lot of brass, including the Bertram stuff ![]() ![]() Good to hear that your cartridge is such an established wildcat that they might start offering it. I might have to have one someday. Being the gun nut that I am, it is the only thing left on my list to try.
