I love mine. It is chambered in 450 Rigby and has never failed to feed.

I have a .600NE. Its never failed to inflict major pain on anyone who has fired it. It barely feeds even solids and for a $10K plus gun has a pretty plain stock. It is very accurate though!

It has its uses nevertheless! One day at the range a local "expert" saw me firing it and came by to provide advice and guidance. He loudly informed me that a REAL Rifleman like himself only needed a .338 win for the biggest and baddest of game animals. a real One shot one kill kinda guy! I sneakily played dumb and coerced him into shooting the Heym. One HUGE hematoma later accompanied by three loud" Holy shits" as well as a total target miss, he cried" Why do you feel you need a .600? I replied, cause they don't make a .800 and proceeded to shoot three shots into the bull offhand at 50 yrds. The look on his face was priceless!

I own a 404 and 500 Jeffrey from Heym.....both are well made and very accurate. They feed and fire flawlessly. They're not embellished, but in the bush I don't care for that. The 404 has seen duty in Zambia and the 500 is still waiting his chance.
Pricey....but great rifles.

Perhaps the group here can talk ZTREH into a fling with the mighty .600NE Heym. Now that would indeed be priceless. Given his depth of experience and knowledge it should be a hoot! I'd even construct a VERY SPECIAL (but safe)load for him that would provide years of continuing fond memories and never-ending high dose Ibuprofen abuse. -Rob

And let Will have it stocked to his liking...that will insure a 600 NE of less than 6 lbs. :-)

A Heym express rifle in .416Rigby, was the first big bore I shoot as young boy. I was 13, 14 years old. Smiler
The light express was a long time at my wish list. But the prices exploding in the last years.
