Need some help guys.

Got my #1 Lott in my hands today & I contacted Ruger to order up the "Boddington style" fixed sights which I love & several of you recommended.

Ruger stated they were unable to find these sights w/o a serial number or parts number to look up.

Can anyone help me out with the specific Ruger parts numbers for the front & rear Boddington sights?

Thanks in advance!

Anyone have one of the "Boddington' specials they could give me a serial number off?
Maybe just change the last two numbers slightly so it will still jive w/ the factory?

Contact Ken Jorgenson at Ruger, he will get you hooked up with the right stuff.
He helped me.

DEAD END

The sights are built specific to each caliber rifle and fitted from the factory only to that rifle.

Might just have to get out a chunk of steel & dremel tool, and do some sculpting..... Maybe even get a little JB weld involved....

Im surprised they wouldn't do it as a service option.

I talked to the Ruger rep at SCI in Reno about the same thing, his response was they do not sell them. I went with a NECG Masterpiece rear sight. If you plan on not mounting a scope, NECG makes a nice peep sight that fits in the rear base.

Guy's

Sorry you had a bad experience.
I hooked up with Ken at DSC told him what I wanted.
Next year at DSC he had it for me free of charge, OK it cost me lunch.
I did try going through the parts department and had no luck.

Just buy a fixed standing blade from Brownells or NECG or one for a muzzleloader and file it to fit.

Your experience with the Ruger service department is consistent with mine. Do not try to customize your Ruger in any way with help from their service department....... I wanted to swap a set of laminate Ruger No 1 stocks from a 1-S for the same set in Walnut and basically got a 'h*ll no!' for an answer. But when a Ruger 77 Frontier arrived New with custom scratches in the laminate from the weaver rail /hardware floating around in the box - they were quite helpful and swapped it post hast.
