Hello.
I remember you said something about what recoilpad you think was the absulute best, but I could'nt find back to the topic.
Was it the Pachmayr "Triple Mag Field 990" you came to was the best when it comes to absorb recoil? Is it better than the "Decelerator"?
I have a "Decelerator" on my 460 Wby.(no muzzlebreak) and I like that one. I'm thinking of bying one for my 416 Taylor, and one for my 338 RUM too.

Hi 460wby,
Yes the pad is the Pachmayer F990. You will find it to be a big step up from the standard 1" Decelerator. Try one on your Weatherby and it will really soften it up.
Take care,

I have one on my 416 Taylor also and my buddy has one on his 338 Ultra Mag and his 375 Weatherby. They all shoot very nicely with them. Take your stock dimensions and look in the Brownells or go to www.brownells.com to see if the same size will fit them all or if you should order different sizes. They should have the measurements for small, medium and large on their site. Model F990.
