I was yesterday at the Norwegian hunting show and saw a .416 and .500 Jeffrey based upon a Scb Mauser . i was looking on the receiver and it was very fine, it oozeed of tradision and quality.

To my surprise i asked the guy where it was made and it was Vektor. When vektor stopped making civillian weapons his father had bought the remaining stock of them. Over 500 of them in all. And 50 of them were links receivers. I tried to ask if it was possible to buy one loose ,but no it aint possible. you have to buy a complete rifle the answer was.

mighty .500 Jeffrey,but it was a very nice rifle and im going over there later this fall, and try that and .505 gibbs and others they have. windowshopping that will be if i doesnt marry rich or win the lottery
