Anyone here familiar with the triggers on these rifles? I have heard that the triggers cannot be replaced, is this true?

BNagel
They are part of the bottom metal / integral with trigger guard.

I had two and both came with straight set type with blade installed on rifle plus extra regular trigger in little green cloth bag and skeletonized adjustment screwdriver. One could easily switch to standard non-set type trigger if so desired.

Guys, please forgive my ignorance. It sounds like I am getting 2 different answers. BNagel says it is part of the bottom metal/trigger guard, therefore could not be replaced? Paolo states that it could be easily replaced? Please explain.
Thx

Years ago I ordered two 602s .375 and .458 from Action Arms and both had spare standard trigger included in the box. While I never tried to replace goofy set unit in either rifle why would factory include them if ones on the rifles were not removable? I do remember adjusting both from top with bolt removed with the screwdriver provided.

They are pinned in the triggerguard, whether it is the standard or single-set version.

The standard or single set triggers made for them easily interchange.

Nobody (to the best of my knowledge) makes a replacement trigger for the ZKK series rifles

We tried to make one for the 602 similar to the one we make for the CZ 550. We finally threw up our hands in frustrated despair. I've never seen anything so goofy in my life.

602 trigger mounts to triggerguard, not to action ... the cz 550 "fixes" this.. then timney made a replacement for the 550.

you COULD have someone solder/weld a mounting point on the 602 like the 550, and maybe use a timney trigger ... like the sears model 51 FN mauser, .. kinda of ..

could it be done? probably...

allow me to elaborate, I am looking at a 602 that has a trigger that seems odd to me. My question is if the trigger could be replaced by a more conventional one?

Here is a BRNO ZKK 602 in ".510/460WbyImpJAB" (McMillan stock and old Zeiss Jena rail mounted scope),
that has had the funky set trigger removed and replaced with the standard trigger that comes with the rifle.
Parts is parts, just drive out the pin that the trigger pivots on and switch triggers and drive the pin back in.

Yep the trigger goes with, is attached to, pivots or hinges by a pin in the one-piece bottom metal.

Thx RIP, just out of curiosity, is that stock painted?

RIP
No, that is just the plain brown color that McMillan molded into the stock, my special order.
Can't scrape it off.
Faux walnut. Cool

Someone could make a little money reproducing the standard factory triggers for those rifles. Seems like they are almost always missing and come only with the funky set-triggers.
